BEASTS OF ENGLAND

The Beasts of England is an installation by artist and No Kings Collective co-founder Brandon Hill.  This site-specific installation is a modern day interpretation of George Orwell’s classic tale, Animal Farm. Through the lens of a common farm, the classic examined nationality, ethnicity, poverty, elitism, heritage, culture, politics, equality, and housing. Playing with perception, depth and materiality, Hill creates large scale works across multiple forms of media to construct an experience that is representative of the dualities and complex relationships Orwell illustrates on the farm.
